This is our original insurance for some emergency cases. In case that you lose or break the device, fees such as line suspension fee, handling charge of device replacement will be free.

Notes

  • Customers should immediately notify Telecom Square of any theft, loss or damage to the device and provide evidence of theft by submitting a written police report. Without evidence, the insurance covers only 50% of compensation fee.
  • No certificate is needed for loss of accessories.

Courier Delivery

Recieve by courier delivery service

You can receive the rental device at your designated address (i.e. hotel) by courier delivery, one day prior to the first day of the rental period. If you want to receive before this date, you will be charged for the extra days for each device.

If you are in a hurry, or if the airport counters are closed due to out of business hours, please drop off the devices in the Return Boxes. We will confirm the call duration with the built-in timer, and then send the billing statement later.

Cancellation fee

No cancellation charge will apply up to 3 days prior to the planned date of receipt. After that, a cancellation charge of JPY 1,080 per phone will apply.
Phones received by courier delivery may not be cancelled on or after the planned date of receipt, while those received at airport counters may not be cancelled after actual receipt.(If you no longer need the device, please return it immediately.)

Return any unneeded devices immediately after receiving them. You will be charged at least one day's rental and other charges.
Received at a counter: After actual receipt

The following case will be treated as a change of plan.

  • Decreasing the number of products applied for.
  • Partial cancellation of the reservation for one or more products included in a reservation for multiple types of products (ex.: after reserving a mobile phone and a Wi-Fi router, cancelling only the reservation for the mobile phone)
  • Change of product (for example, from Wi-Fi Wide to Wi-Fi City)
